INSIDER THREATS AND USER BEHAVIOR ANALYTICS

Canadian’s are not invulnerable when it comes to targeted/sophisticated attacks. Intelligence, defense and civilian agencies, as well as provincial governments, are prime targets for attackers because they hold vast amounts of personal information about we as citizens and residents. These departments and agencies face threats from a range of adversaries, including state-sponsored hackers.

The challenge is how to manage this challenge while monitoring the hackers to build the right defenses and gather the needed intelligence. GovSec offers our government security teams the chance to get updates, insights and solutions for the current as well as emerging threats.

Departments and agencies have invested quite a bit of time and money trying to stay in front of the threat and understand what’s going on in your environment. You’ve deployed tools ranging from log management to security information and event management (SIEM) to security operational intelligence. Yet the key question remains: How can I tell when something’s happening in my environment that shouldn’t be?
